He also ranks each type of investment by its stability of principal, stability of income, protection against inflation, total return, and tax benefits. Also included is a chapter on investments that a low-risk investor should avoid. The author's simple language and excellent examples, explaining each investment instrument, make this a great purchase for public libraries. Highly recommended.
