About the Author:
Former Director of the Applied Ethics Program at St. Petersburg College, Mr. Goree taught professional ethics and ethics education at conferences and workshops for teachers, school administrators, law enforcement officers, and other professional groups throughout the country. In 1997, the Florida Association of Community Colleges named Mr. Goree as a semi-finalist for the Florida Professor of the Year Award. He was also awarded the Carol Burnett Award for Ethics in Journalism. In September 2005, Mr. Goree was named National Community College Faculty Member of the Year by the Association of Community College Trustees.
