About the Author:
Alan Bryman is professor of social research at Loughborough University in England. James J. Teevan is a professor emeritus of sociology at the University of Western Ontario, where he taught social research methods for more than thirty years. Edward Bell is a professor at the University of
Western Ontario currently teaching courses in statistics for sociology, research methods, advanced-level statistics, and research methods in empirical sociology. His research and scholarly interests include political sociology, social movements, and social change.
